Great value for mid-Sukumvit

Great value for that part of town Staff are all very friendly and helpful Everything was in good condition

The rooms in the building behind Starbucks are a bit dated (but clean and functional) Breakfast was lackluster but edible Empty fridge in the room - no minibar. Not the end of the world but needed to go to the local 7-11 for beers and soda. Not terribly convenient but to be honest, I probably spent about half what I usually spend for drinks in my room

The Davis' standard is not like it used to years ago.

I found what was on offer for breakfast day in and day out on my long stay, to be seriously lacking and disappointing. Extremely basic and a huge change from the standard I was expecting, compared to my stays at the Davis years ago. This was definitely a sore spot and will certainly influence my decision about staying at the Davis in the future.

I like the room and location.

Staff. We booked 2 rooms. We arrrived around 9 am after 10 hours flight and asked for early check-in. The guy said our rooms are ready but there is early check-in cost until 12 am. we can check-in free after 12 am. we waited at the looby and asked again at 12 am for check-in but he said check-in is not possible until 2pm. when we reminded him that he said check-in is free after 12 am, he replied our rooms are not ready. the rooms were ready at 9 am if we agree to pay extra for early check-in but at 12 am the rooms were not ready. we waited until 2 pm for check-in. ıf we knew we had to wait until 2 pm, we would agree to pay fee for early check-in at 9 am.

Friendly efficient staff hotel compliments with water good range of toiletries and slippers plus some English speaking channels on TV wifi is good the free shuttle to the BTS/Emporium Suites a bonus They are big rooms

Bit dated. The photos make it look nicer than what it is. Be sure you aren’t hit with extra charges if Booking.com states all fees included

Great stay in a not-ideal location (for a first-timer anyhow)

Huge room - the executive suite - was a good value for my family. Kids had their own room and bathroom and there was a sitting room and kitchenette. My rating above says 7.9 based on the “emoticon” algorithm of this site. But I would give this place a higher rating, maybe an 8.5.

Bangkok is huge, which is really hard to grasp until you’ve actually been there. Our hotel’s neighborhood was nice enough but really far away from the main sites and not ideally situated for public transport. Traffic is bad enough that some taxis even refused to take us places at certain times of the day. Note that this hotel has a beautiful boutique wing - Baan - which is featured in the photos. But most people are put up in the building’s high rise. I didn’t even know about the other wing or the second pool until the last day when I investigated the property. There’s another pool/spa on the roof but it’s rather small. There’s also a lovely piano in the lobby but they wouldn’t let my son, an accomplished pianist, play it because he was “just a kid.” I was rather annoyed by this seeing as how the piano was never played the entirety of our stay. What’s the point?

Absolutely amazing!

The staff was amazing! Always greeted us with a smile. The value for money was another thing that exceeded my expectations, affordable hotel but beautiful hotel. Location was also good!

Good size room and decent gym spa and roof top pool. Room service was good and value for money.

Alright. Wish I was told there were two different buildings.

The hotel rooms were good enough. It felt comfortable and quiet. There was a Starbucks right below the corner wing which made for great coffee breaks and breakfast.

I wasn't too fond of the location. I felt it wasn't in the better parts of town and getting a meter running taxi was a headache. It's not easy to get a ride that is metered. The taxis up front of the hotel are not going to run the meter and charge a stupid price. So location for me was pretty uncomfortable. Also when I booked a room at the davis I was not informed there were to seperate buildings. The Main Davis Bangkok and the Davis Bangkok Corner wing. Which i felt was a lesset standard of the two. The corner wing felt boring and unattended. I was not informed that's where we will be taken. I would make sure with the hotel which building you're being taken to, even though they are next to each other I feel the standards are miles apart.

Great stay

The room was spacious and comfortable. Basic facilities such as refrigerator and kitchen appliances (such as cutlery) were provided which was convenient. The staff is very friendly and even though I saw earlier reviews about not enough variety for breakfast, I felt that their breakfast spread was quite nice, they also have a au bon pain and starbucks to grad a quick bite. There is a rooftop swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room which was very relaxing and clean.

Good location, poor hotel

The location was great - near to a bunch of restaurants, especially a tonkatsu place just across the road. Starbucks was just downstairs! I was definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to food. Very near to the BTS station too - the mall area was just so good on a hot day.

Hotel staff were quite rude and clueless. Shower facilities were old. My room curtain was faulty, couldn't draw it. The carpeted floor was dirty. The light switches were not working. Room is also in a different building, which would have been alright if it was stated during the actual booking process. This area is full of hotels - for this price, I wouldn't come back here again.

No complaints about the Davis. A good hotel.

Its quite a nice hotel, though a little anonymous. Everything functions well, although you wouldn't rave about the place. The staff did their job, but there is little warmth from them - maybe just too many tourists and they are tired. So all in all a little underwhelmed - but no complaints.

I think the rooms need refreshing a little - but they are fine...

Nice Hotel, but dirty floors.

Nice, english speaking staff. Nice room. Food was decent. Good value for money! Room was not ready and we had to wait for about 2 hrs for it to get ready because the earlier guests checked out very late. We were compensated with a free dinner inc beer/wine and free breakfast during our stay.

We booked the diplomatic suite and it was very nice. Only thing is very poor cleaning of the tiles on the floor in bathroom, jaccuzee-area and livingroom, the floor was sticky several places and was all in all dirty. Electricity on the bedtables killed 2 phonechargers (2 different occations and different electrical sockets), they shortcircuted and smoke came out of them. Luckily we were awake when it happened, so it didnt start a fire. Allso we think there were bed-bugs in the bed, we have itching bite marks that we didnt have before.
